The engagement was announced 7 January, 2006, between Harry Geoffrey Fleming (b. 1966), scion of the BLG family of Fleming of Nettlebed, & descended from the Borthwick Baronets, 2nd son of Valentine Patrick Fleming (b. 1 Aug 1935), of Stonewall Park, near Edenbridge, Kent, by his wife the former Elizabeth Helen Gibbs (1938) scion of the Barons Aldenham & Hunsdon, & Heather A. Fell, daughter of Mr Alexander Fell, of Craighead, Blair Drumond, & Mrs Robin Nicholson, of Claymoddie, Wigtownshire.
Harry Fleming is a great-nephew of Ian Fleming (1908-64) creator of "James Bond". Harry's maternal grandfather was the Hon Sir Geoffrey Cokayne Gibbs, KCMG (1901-75), who was 2nd son of the 1st Baron Hunsdon of Hunsdon.
