Ann Countess of Yarborough

_.Anne Countess of Yarborough, who died 24 June, 2013, aged 89, was the widow of the 7th Earl of Yarborough (1920-91), of Brocklesby Park, Harborough, Lincolnshire. She was the former Florence Ann Petronel Upton, born 24 January, 1924, daughter of John Herbert Upton (Upton-Cottrell-Dormer, of that landed family of Ingmire Hall, Yorks, and Lew House, Oxon), and married 1stly, Charles John Riddell Duffin, lieut Scots Guards; married 2ndly, 1957, Maj John Edward Pelham, styled Lord Worsley, who succeeded his father as 7th Earl of Yarborough (Earl UK 1837) 2 Dec, 1966. The 7th Earl, Maj. Grenadier Guards and High Sheriff of Lincolnshire (1964), died 21 March, 1991, aged 70. The Dowager Countess leaves issue, a son, Charles John, 8th Earl (b 5 Nov, 1963), and daughters, Lady Sophia, Lady Arabella and Lady Vanessa. The funeral is at All Saints' Church, Brocklesby, Lincolnshire, Thurs 4 July. -=-
