Beamish/Dacre marriage

The marriage took place in 2015, between Charles William Beamish, son of Mr Victor Noel Beamish (b 1953)  and the late Mrs Janey Beamish (d 19 Sept, 2007), of Knappach, Kincardineshire, & Emily Douglas-Home, (29th) Baroness Dacre {Peerage of England, cr 1321), (b 7 Feb, 1983), only child of the late 28th Baron Dacre (1952-2014), by his wife the former Christina Stephenson (died 18 May, 2008).

Sir Anthony Edward Norman Bellingham, 8th Baronet 1947-2015

_. Sir Anthony Bellingham, Baronet, who died in August, 2015, was the 8th holder of the baronetcy, of Castle Bellingham, Co Louth, created in 1796.

Sir Anthony was managing director of City Financial Executive Recruitment.

Anthony Edward Norman Bellingham (pronounced 'Bellinjum') was born 24 March, 1947, the second son of Sir Roger Bellingham, MB, ChB, DA, 6th Baronet (1911-73), by his wife the former Mary Norman. He succeeded to the baronetcy on the death of his elder brother, Sir Noel, the 7th baronet, in 1999.

His ancestor, Sir William, sometime secretary to the prime minister, William Pitt, and afterwards a commissioner for the Navy, was awarded a baronetcy, 19 Apr, 1796.

Sir Alan, the 4th baronet, married Lady Constance Noel, daughter of the 2nd Earl of Gainsborough, and descended from King William IV from his liaison with the actress Dorothy Jordan.

Sir Anthony was twice married. His first wife, whom he wed in 1991, was Denise Marie Elizabeth Moity. They divorced in 1998. He married secondly, in Thailand 1998 (div 2001), Namphon Buchar.

He leaves a son from the first marriage, William Alexander Noel Henry Bellingham, who now succeeds as the ninth baronet. He was born 19 August, 1991.

Low, elder daughter of Mr & Mrs Christopher Low, of Swinton House, Swinton, Berwickshire.

Thomas Troubridge 1939-2015

Thomas Troubridge  died 12 December, 2015. He was aged 75. He was a scion of the Troubridge baronets, and first husband of Princess Michael of Kent.

Thomas Troubridge was born 26 December 1939, a son of Vice-Admiral Sir Thomas Hope Troubridge and younger brother of  Sir Peter Troubridge, 6th Bt ; married 1st 1971 (div)  Marie-Christine von Reibnitz (now Princess Michael of Kent); married 2nd 1981 Petronella (née von Woyrsch), formerly wife of James Russell Forgan.

The 8th Baron Congleton 1930-2015

The 8th Baron Congleton died 11 December, 2015. He was aged 85.

Christopher Patrick Parnell was born 11 March, 1930, a son of the 6th Baron Congleton (1892-1932), by his wife the former Hon Edith Mary Palmer Howard, MBE, scion of the Barons Strathcona & Mount Royal; married 19 Nov, 1955, (Anna) Hedvig Sommerfelt, dau of Gustav Adolf Sommerfelt, of Oslo, Norway, by whom he had issue, two sons and three daughters.

Christopher Parnell succeeded to the barony (Baron, UK, cr 1841), and to the family baronetcy (Bt Ireland, cr 1766), on the death of his elder brother, the 7th Baron, 12 Oct, 1967.

The peerage and baronetcy now devolve upon his elder son, the Hon John Patrick Christian Parnell, who was born 17 March, 1959.

A Service of Thanksgiving will be held at Salisbury Cathedral, Wednesday 3 Feb, 2016.

Marie-Anne Helene Emanuela von Simson [Altgräfin zu Salm-Reifferscheidt Krautheim und Dyck] 1933-2015

_. Marie-Anne Helene Emanuela von Simson [Altgräfin zu Salm-Reifferscheidt Krautheim und Dyck] died 8 Dec, 2015. She was born 18 Aug, 1933, dau of Franz Josef Fürst zu Salm-Reifferscheidt-Krautheim und Dyck (1899-1958), by his wife Cäcilie Prinzessin zu Salm-Salm (1911-91), descended from the Royal House of Habsburg; she married firstly, 27 Jul, 1964, in London, as his second wife, Lt-Col the Hon Alexander Campbell Geddes (1911-72), a son of the 1st Baron Geddes, by whom she had issue. She was widowed, 22 Sept, 1972; she married 2ndly, 27 Nov, 1978, as his 2nd wife, Professor Otto Georg von Simson , who died 23 May, 1993, aged 80.

She is survived by two children from her first marriage, Camilla MacDonnell and Stephen Geddes.

Arthur Frederick Richard Womack von Preussen (b 2015)

.___ . HRH Princess Tatiana Brigid Honor von Preussen {b 16 Oct 1980} wife of Philip Alan Womack (b 1981), gave birth to a son, Arthur Frederick Richard Womack von Preussen, 21 November, 2015.

Mr Womack is the younger son of Mr Richard Womack, of Cranleigh, Surrey, by his wife the former ___ Obradovic, & Princess Tatiana, a scion of the Royal House of Prussia & descended from the Earls of Iveagh, is the daughter of HRH Prince (William) Andrew von Preussen (b 14 Nov, 1947), by his wife the former Alexandra Blahova.

Princess Tatiana is descended from the last German Emperor, Wilhelm II, and thus from Queen Victoria, &c.

Briony McCorquodale (d 2015)

_. Briony McCorquodale (aka Briony Brind, the ballerina) who died 3 December, 2015, at Home Farm, Camfield Place, Hatfield, was the wife of Ian Hamilton McCorquodale (b 11 Oct 1937), scion of that landed family.

She was born Briony Brind, daughter of Roger and Jenni Brind, and married circa 2000, as his second wife, Ian McCorquodale, son of Hugh McCorquodale (1898-1963), by his wife the writer Dame Barbara Cartland. Ian McCorquodale is a brother of Raine, Countess Spencer, step-mother of Diana, Princess of Wales, &c.

A Service of Thanksgiving takes place at Essendon Church, Essendon, Hertfordshire, 27 January, 2016.

Sir Ian Edward Johnson-Ferguson, 4th Baronet 1932-2015

_. Sir Ian Edward Johnson-Ferguson, 4th Baronet, died 6 December, 2015. He was aged 83.

He was born 1 Feb, 1932, son of Lt-Col Sir Neil Edward Johnson-Ferguson, 3rd Baronet; was educated at Ampleforth, & Trinity College, Cambridge; married 1964, RosemaryTeresa, yr daughter of the late Cecil John Whitehead, of Edenbridge, by whom he had issue, three sons. He succeeded to the baronetcy (cr UK, 1906), upon the demise of his father, 1992.

The baronetcy now passes to his eldest son, Mark Edward Johnson-Ferguson, who was born 14 Aug, 1965.

A Requiem Mass takes place at St John the Baptist RC Church, Andover, Hampshire, 16 Dec, 2015.

Baroness Ironside (d 2015)

From the Telegraph of 5 December 2015: IRONSIDE  Audrey Marigold, adored wife of Bing. Passed peacefully away on 3rd December, aged 84. Private funeral, no flowers, please.

She was d of Lt-Col Hon Thomas George Breadalbane MORGAN GRENVILLE DSO OBE MC (1891-1965, s of Mary Lady Kinloss in her own right) and Georgina May St John (1894-1973) d of Albert St John MURPHY of Little Island, co Cork). She m 1951 2nd Baron IRONSIDE (b 1924) and had a son and a dau.

Lascelles/Bailey marriage

The marriage took place in Barbados, 2 December, 2015, between Thomas Robert Lascelles [born 7 September, 1982], scion of the Earls of Harewood, only son of the Hon [Robert] Jeremy Hugh Lascelles [born 14 February, 1955], by his first wife, the former Julie Baylis [born 19 July, 1957], & Laura Bailey.

Thomas Lascelles is a grandson of the 7th Earl of Harewood, KBE [1923-2011], and a great-grandson of HRH The Princess Mary, Princess Royal, Countess of Harewood [1897-1965], and a great-great-grandson of HM King George V [1865-1936].
